Art Dance Sunday 11 June
Event description
Using the metaphor of the mountain we will explore the much needed place of stillness that we all can access if only we listen.
ArtDance is such a nurturing space for adults. Somehow we forget how to play. In this safe, held space with no judgement or expectations we discover how to take care of ourselves. We dance and sink into the body's unique wisdom of knowing what we need and what we want to express. Then we create- sometimes using pastels or paints, sometimes with words, sometimes with natural objects and we discover what amazing creative humans we are!
Combining the creative forces of art making and movement. Art materials provided. Spaces limited to 16 so please book to ensure a place.

Why Art?
Whenever we dance, we build the muscles of creative intelligence. Just like emotional intelligence, fostering creativity offers profound skills for navigating our day-to-day relational world. It inevitably leads towards intimacy, raw aliveness, authenticity, vulnerability, presence and sudden attacks of transcendence.
Creativity is a force of our nature, as natural as breathing. We each possess a license to create that is irrevocable. It points us towards our essential nature, which is vast, unique, and universal.
