To showcase some of the exciting projects we have supported, we invite you to join us for a lively panel discussion to explore the lessons learnt and impact of fostering collaborations that bridge the gap between creative and engineering industries in Fishermans Bend - and the industry partnerships that make it happen.

Miro Solar Flower is a public art project led by artist Callan Morgan from Pelican Studios. The vision is to create a series of majestic, 8m tall, kinetic steel structures shaped like orchids with large petals that pivot from a hydraulically driven, motion-controlled core and are lined with flexible solar panels. In partnership with Siemens Mobility, using the Miro Solar Flower project as a working case study, the collaboration tested and developed a collaboration framework to bridge the gap between creative and engineering industries. The project enhanced employee engagement whilst progressing the technical and creative aspects of this innovative artwork concept.

Re:cultivate is a three-month creative residency partnership between the Australian Network for Art & Technology (ANAT), South East Water with artist Yandell Walton. Using the theme of water in Fishermans Bend as inspiration, this residency Yandell Walton has provided a period of interdisciplinary exploration, immersive creative research, knowledge-sharing and collaboration with subject matter experts from industry partners South East Water. By supporting the process of collaborative and creative development, the program aims to strengthen partnerships that advance art, science, and technology, and seed future projects and opportunities.
