Art for All: International Day of People with a Disability at SAM To celebrate International Day of People with a Disability, SAM has partnered with the City of Greater Shepparton to present three creative workshops for people of all abilities to join. Designed especially for community members with disabilities, these workshops create a warm and friendly environment where attendees can relax, explore and create their very own works of art. |
10:30 am – 12:30 pm Make a record into a clock! Local artist Kody Bothwell will show you how to turn old records into a working clock! Attendees will learn paint-pouring and upcycling in this fun, engaging workshop. 1:30pm – 2:30 pm Multi-media collaging Attendees will enjoy a multi-sensory, free-form collaging session, where they'll be encouraged to flex their creative skills in this low-pressure, fun and hands-on workshop. 3:30pm – 4:30 pm Oil pastel and ink-wash exploration Attendees will get messy in this energetic, two-part art making workshop. Explore the magic of mixing oil and water and be amazed at what emerges! |
