Down Syndrome NSW Afternoon at the Art Gallery

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Art Gallery of NSW. This incredible organisation is dedicated to supporting people with disabilities of all ages and their carers to access, engage with, understand and enjoy the arts.

To kick off our partnership, we are excited to run a series of special guided tours exclusive to our members. We will be running guided tours of the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes exclusively for our Down Syndrome NSW members, in which there are 4 amazing artists with Down syndrome featured.

We will be running 3 parallel sessions at the same time

1. Carers session: for all parents, grandparents, family friends

2. Kids, youth and teens session: 4-17 year olds and siblings

3. UP! Club: adults 18 years and older

We will all come together for afternoon tea in a private function space for our community following the guided tours. We will run art making for the kids, youth, teens and adults while the carers relax and connect. 

Our DSNSW staff and volunteers will provide support on the day.

Cost

Carers, Grandparents, Family Friends: $15 per person

Up, Up and Away and their Siblings: $10 per person (free for children 5 years old and under)

Registration is essential.
