Art Jam
Description
ART JAM @ CBFAC
Tuesday 4 August - Sunday 13 September
Due to popular demand, Art Jam is back again at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre in 2026 running from 4 August to 13 September.
Art Jam moves away from the traditional quiet gallery space concept to a combined studio and gallery idea which enables the communty to engage with the artists whose works are on the walls.
Artists are invited to hire studio spaces in the gallery, set up a display of their works, whether that be paintings, ceramics and sculptures and then work in the space during gallery hours. Visitors can talk to the artist and understand their practice.
This year’s Art Jam takes place during a temperate time of the year and coincides with our inaugural Winter School of Art (pARTicipate). It’s sure to be a busy time with lots of activities taking place.

Sale of Artwork
The Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre (CBFAC) is not a commercial gallery. While it encourages sales of Artwork, it is not the priority. Art Jam participants should set realistic expectations for the number of sales

The Art Jam participants agree to take all measures necessary to ensure that their work(s) will not cause or potentially cause any injury to any person. A CBFAC representative shall direct alterations to the way in which the work(s) are exhibited, if, in its opinion, visitor risk exists.
Images of Artwork
CBFAC may use images of the Artwork incidentally for the promotion of the Gallery, for example, in photographs of the inside and outside of the Gallery premises and in brochures, website articles, media features, magazine articles and television. If CBFAC uses such images for the promotion of the Gallery, then the result of that use is the intellectual property of the Gallery.
Promotion by Exhibitor/s
CBFAC strongly encourages Art Jam participants to do their own promotional activities for their exhibition. This may include social media advertising, printing of catalogues/brochures, or radio interviews.
Art Jam participants may use images taken by The Agent to promote the exhibition, so long as The Agent is appropriately credited.
