Start your own journal and tell your inner critic to shoosh!!

This workshop is intended for absolute art beginners.

During this 4 hour workshop you will be guided by Donna Gordge of Stitch Paint Burn through a range of creative activities to start filling your own art journal. Spend an afternoon learning different journalling techniques - we will complete several different spreads in your journal using techniques such as collage, pen and wash, stamping, free writing, black-out poetry, stitch....

You'll also learn all sorts of tips to increase your confidence, break through the artist's block and just get creating.

Materials: You'll need to bring a journal or visual diary to work in and a favourite quote, poem or song lyrics. All other materials are supplied as well as a comprehensive list of prompts to keep you inspired after the workshop.

Where: This event will be held in beautiful Aldinga Beach at the Curiosity Cafe, home of Fresh Ginger Creative, situated between the scrub and the beach. This event is part of an ongoing series of creative workshops.

Date: Friday 16 April 2021

Time: 12.30pm to 5pm including a light lunch and drink on arrival plus an afternoon tea break.

Cost: $100 +booking fee
