The Print Room, Cannery Arts Centre

The Print Room will be opened for Cannery members to pursue their own sewing projects. Come along and work alongside like-minded individuals to stop, stitch, and make time to sew.

BYO sewing machine, fabric, and project of choice. It’s a relaxed, social afternoon for makers to connect, share ideas, and carve out dedicated creative time.

💰 $5 per Cannery member per session

🗓 Term 2, 2026 dates:

2nd of May | 2–5pm
6th June | 2–5pm

Sew Social is planned for the first Saturday of each month, with dates adjusted around long weekends, school holidays, or other events.

Refund Policy & Course Cancellations

To secure your place, payment of the full course fee must be made upon enrolment.

A full refund will be issued when:

A workshop is cancelled by the Cannery Arts Centre;

A workshop is rescheduled by the Cannery Arts Centre and you are unable to attend on the new date;

We are notified prior to the start of a workshop that for medical reasons you are unable to take your place. Please note, you will need to present a medical certificate when you apply for a refund.

A refund of the course fee less 20% administration fee will be issued when:

You withdraw from a course five (5) or more days before the start date.

No refunds or substitute classes will be offered if :-

You withdraw four (4) or fewer days prior to the course start date;

You withdraw on or after the course start date;

You are absent from a class.

Subject to place availability, you can enrol after a course has commenced. There is no discount available and payment of full workshop fee applies.

The Cannery Arts Centre reserves the right to cancel or makes changes to the location and tutor of any workshop or class.

Credit will not be offered under any circumstances.
