Art Lovers: The Archibald Guided Tour & Lunch

The King’s School warmly invites you to the Term 2 Art Lover's event, the third of five events for the year - a Guided Tour of the Archibald Prize and Lunch.

The Archibald Prize for portrait painting is Australia’s most celebrated and democratic – sometimes controversial – art award. Open to any artist living in Australia or New Zealand, since 1921 it has reflected the unique experiences of the people who live in this region, highlighting figures from all walks of life.

Art Lovers - Term 2

Date: Sunday 23 June 2024

Meeting Location: Art Gallery of New South Wales, Naala Nura - Art Gallery Rd, Sydney NSW 2000. Please meet on the steps of the original building. 

Meeting Time: 10:40 am (Approximate end to lunch would be 2pm)

Cost: $145.00 per person (Ticket includes: Entry into the Archibald, Sulman and Wynne Exhibition, Guided Tour and a 3 Course Sharing Menu crafted by Matt Moran - beverages not included) .

Term 2 – The Archibald – Week 8 June 23rd June - Guided Tour and Lunch – meet at AGNSW 10.40am.

Term 3 – Sydney Contemporary – Week 7 Sunday 8th of September - Guided Tour and Lunch – depart TKS 11am – return 330pm.

Term 4 – Watercolour Class with Mira Whale – Week 4 Tuesday 5th of November 5pm – 7pm
