Join BirdLife Australia and FLOAT for a free art and nature workshop, inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of East Gippsland.

Slow down, get creative and take a closer look at the remarkable creatures living along our coastlines. You’ll learn from experts at BirdLife Australia about threatened birds like the Hooded Plover, explore the challenges they face, and discover how creativity and observation can help us connect with and care for the places we call home.

Guided by local artists Penny Gray and Elizabeth Scott, you’ll experiment with cyanotype, printmaking, watercolour and natural materials to create your own artwork inspired by our coastal wildlife.

FREE, ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED, No artistic experience required

Please make sure to register for each person, and let us know of any dietary requirements.

This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) Victorian Landcare Government Grants program.
