In the art of allowing process you play, tune in, move and then let yourself be moved when you transform an abstract landscape into a messenger from a different realm. Free the artist that you naturally are with the practices of movement, deep listening, playful exploration, breathwork and painting on canvas.

Through layers of paint, experimentation and making “mistakes” your unique expression in the world can emerge. Much more than a painting retreat, this is a reunion with your intuitive heart wisdom. When you create with your intuitive heart, there is a relationship between you and what you are creating on the canvas. It’s an invitation and an invocation of the sacred wild force that is within every human being.

This Art of Allowing Painting retreat is perfect for anyone willing to show up with an open and curious heart. No art experience is necessary. Come as you are and reconnect to your own source.

What is included?

• You will receive two canvasses, from which one will be heavy duty and high quality, for fine art. All painting materials are included such as: textile pastes, gels, mediums, quality acrylic paints, use of brushes.

• You will learn technical skills:

o Learn several painting techniques to create (transparent) layers of acrylic paint
o About colour, composition, contrast, form, depth and patterns.
o You will learn how to paint a three-dimensional face from the front.

• A variety of offerings that will support you to drop into your body, into your heart space, into your feelings:

o Conscious dance: Guided movement through music
o Breath work
o Nature meditation
o Space to feel, to heal
o Creative writing
o Sharing Circle

• Food and drinks: Healthy Vegetarian meals: Thursday dinner, Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch. Coffee, Tea and snacks.

• Optional Sauna and Hot tub in beautiful nature surroundings

• Camping facilities

• Be in stunning natural setting right by the beautiful Wainui Beach and Abel Tasman National Park

Bring your own:

Tent, van or caravan. There is an option for a shared basic cottage for $20 per night.
Breakfast. Fridge space and cooking facilities available.
Everything for you to feel comfortable in your body, enough warm clothes, blankets etc. Let me know if you need anything extra.

There is a possibility to rent a room outside of the Tui Treefield on walking distance by private arrangement and extra costs. This is an alcohol and drug free event.
