Art of Shibori (Old Grey House)

Shibori is the art of folding, binding, clamping and knotting to compress fabric to create a resist. Join Tanya from ‘Old Grey House’ for a three hour workshop and be inspired by this amazing indigo dye process. Learn how to prepare a dye vat and some basic Itajame and Arashi Shibori techniques. You will create and experiment on some test pieces to start with and then create either a silk/cotton scarf or linen table runner to take home. It may get a little messy but I promise it will be great fun! No experience is necessary.
