Create papercut landscapes with Nick Baylart. View the works in his exhibition, Speedscapes and take a walk to explore nearby horizons with Nick. He will demonstrate how to make the papercuts, arranging them, taping, gluing and adding gestures with mixed media to complete them. Nick will share information about the papers and techniques that he uses, with an emphasis on conservation. You will take home a handful of handmade Nick Baylart style streetscape collages. All materials will be supplied.

About the artist

Nick Baylart is an emerging artist now based in Shepparton, Victoria, who has been exhibiting in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales since 2022. He completed his training as a paper conservator at the University of Melbourne in 2018 and worked as a conservator in Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra before relocating to country Victoria.
