We're BACK with Art on the Dancefloor!

Because we all need more MUSIC, more DANCE, more ART and more UV FUN in our lives!

This time we're keeping it simple with self-directed creative flow in an open space. A 2 hour set where you can dance, paint, and reconnect, at your own pace and in your own way.

Art on the Dancefloor is a trinity of The Arts: art, music and dance. It's a therapeutic arts experience centred in self-expression and creative play, an evening of nourishment for the soul as we expand and express ourselves in a safe and nurturing environment.

This round we're stripping it back to the essentials. Come and go between painting, dancing and simply being, guided by our resident DJ ArtKeyTek, with UV art materials on hand for you to explore in free flow.

We create a safe and non-judgemental space that encourages you to trust your own instincts, ideas and creative choices. Move through the space as you please, painting when you feel called to, dancing when the music moves you, resting when you need to. There's no set structure to follow, just an invitation to show up as you are.

We honour your own pace, preferences and comfort level in selecting art techniques and moving around the space. The focus is on your subjective experience and meaning-making rather than on external interpretation. Art and intuitive dance become tools for personal growth, self-expression and self-discovery. It's all about the process of creating rather than the end result.

A key focus is connecting to the music and allowing your body and mind to relax as spirit moves through you.

Located on Angus St (above Holt Bolt), Clontarf, QLD, Australia, 4019
Doors open at 5.45pm for a prompt 6pm start. Music will finish at 7.45pm.

Payments

General admission/Consession includes art materials. Babies and children under 12 are welcome for free, but must wear ear protection. If your child would like to use the art materials, there is an option to donate.

Packages: you can purchase a couple's ticket at a discounted rate (2 adults) or purchase a ticket that gives access to BOTH of our AonD events (21st Aug & 18th Sep / 1 adult)
