Art + Potluck invites you to Bring A Plate.

We have all been asked to bring a plate for a gathering, and most of us understand it to bring a dish to share. What is different about our next potluck event is that aside from the traditional bring a plate/dish, we also invite you to bring a plate -- literally.

Bring A Plate event aims to put some focus on the plates we use to eat. While we all have our everyday plates at home to eat with, we are sure you have those special dinner plates that you use on important celebrations, or when hosting special guests. So share us your story and the history and culture about your plates, and be part of an intimate gathering of people from our community who have their own stories to share about a dinner plate over a dinner plate.

We will be inviting some artists and potters to talk about their practice of making dinnerware by hand.

This evening will fun, simple and intimate -- share plates, visual art, open mic poetry and music, and maybe even dancing! Venue hosted by The Artists Hub Gold Coast Gallery.

Bring a plate, bring a dish, bring yourself and family and friends for another evening of creative conversations.

This is a FREE event, but registration is essential. The event will be exclusive to the registered guests. Limited seats are available. More details will be sent to those who register.
