Join Centre for Stories and Passages Youth Engagement Hub for a FREE hands-on art therapy session designed for young people aged 13-25 who want to explore their emotions through colour, texture, and creativity. There is no right or wrong way to do it - this is just about you and whatever you're carrying today.

Together, we'll create a collaborative artwork that weaves personal stories, positive memories, and a little bit of hope into something bigger than ourselves. If you've got a way with words, there'll be space to fold your writing into the process too.

Expect paint-stained fingers, pizzas, good company, and the kind of conversation that only seems to happen when your hands are busy making things.

Come ready to get messy. No experience needed!

About the facilitator:

Valentina Gurrieri is an art therapist and creative facilitator based in Australia, originally from Florence, Italy - a city where art and storytelling are a part of everyday life. After moving to Australia in 2012, she experienced firsthand how language barriers can create emotional disconnection and found that creativity became her bridge to self-expression. This transformative experience led her to complete a Diploma in Art Therapy in 2022, and she has since facilitated workshops for women, migrants, and people from diverse backgrounds navigating trauma, cultural displacement, or emotional challenges.
