Ages: 6-11yrs
Cost: $55 per person, per session
Join Mandy Jay for a fun filled session of art therapy activities. Discover the benefits of creative expression on your physical, mental, & emotional well being (ie. reduce anxiety and depression and regulation of energy and emotions). Experiment with symbols, imagery, objects from nature and the malleability of art materials to explore emotions and thoughts.
Some of the most common benefits for children engaging in art therapy include:
- Coping methods
- Problem solving skills
- Developing new skills through creativity
- Non-verbal expression of feelings
- Non-judgmental therapeutic process
- More interesting activities then long form talk therapy
- Ability to strengthen bonds with peers through group work
The sessions will incorporate mindfulness, story-telling and goal setting using collage, clay, paint, pastels and objects from nature. Suitable for beginners – no art skills needed at all. 12 people maximum per group. Not necessary to do all 3 sessions, but more beneficial if you can!
All materials are provided. BYO snack or lunch. There is also a café onsite.
1 x 2hr session is $55. Or book all 3 sessions for $150. Bring a friend and get a discount!

Mandy Jay is a local art therapist who has been working in local schools. She is able to provide individual private sessions as well.
