Shooting Stars - Art with the Stars exhibition opening night (Invitation only)

Join us in Fremantle to celebrate and admire powerful works of art, showcasing the creative artistry from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls in Western Australia.

The function will commence at Bathers Beach House at 5.30pm, with part of the evening taking place at the Shipwrecks Museum where the exhibition is being showcased.  

The exhibition presents incredible work produced by talented young artists in this Shooting Stars enrichment program. Each piece of art featured is a narrative in its own right, offering a window into the unique perspectives and incredible stories of these artists. The artwork collectively reflects their journeys, aspirations, and their deep connection to culture, community and self, adding depth and dimension to the broader Shooting Stars program.

In addition to the stories you will experience while viewing the exhibition, you will meet Shooting Stars staff members from across WA and SA, and weave new stories in a hands-on traditional art-making workshop.
