The Zonta Club of Cairns is holding our annual Zonta Breaks the Bias - Art Without Boundaries event on 10 May 2024.

Enjoy a beverage, finger food and take in the amazing talents of a range of local artists.

There will be a cash bar, raffles and an art auction to raise funds for our important local causes all aimed at supporting women and girls to make their worlds better.

100% proceeds from this event go to our local causes.

The monster Mother's Day Raffle will also be drawn during the evening,

Zonta International partners with the UN agencies, UNFPA, UN Women and UNICEF to support projects focused on issues related to health, education, equality and human rights, economic empowerment, gender-based violence, child marriage, human trafficking and safe cities. Zonta Cairns efforts raise valuable funds that allow the club to support our commitments to our local, national and international projects. In the coming Biennium, we have committed to support the following projects: Ruth’s Women’s Shelter, Warringu, The Women’s Centre; MAR Inc. and Angel Babies; CWA Bushfire Relief and the club’s ongoing Service commitments to McGrath Foundation – Breast Care cushions, Birthing Kits – BKFA and Days for Girls; and Scholastic Encouragement Awards contributing to tertiary education of very deserving Year 12 girls with a strong interest in school and community.
