Art Workshops
Event description
As a part of NAIDOC Week 2022, South Eveleigh is hosting Art Workshops inspired by the Dreamtime Stories. Telling stories is as ancient as humankind and the Dreamtime stories of Australia’s own First Nations are some of the most deep-rooted on the planet. These timeless stories are the foundations of First Nations culture.
Artists from 107 Projects will be guiding the children to be thoughtful and to get creative, exploring and recreating some of the treasured Dreamtime Stories into pieces of meaningful art. Everything provided in the art workshop is free.
There are two sessions to pick from at 12am or 1pm. Click 'Get Tickets' and pick your preferred session.
All school ages are welcome! Parents or guardians must attend and supervise their child/ren for the duration of the activities. This is not a drop-off event. The event may need to be rescheduled subject to changes out of our control.
The entrance to the Foundry Building is via 1 Locomotive Street. Enter through the main entrance of the Commonwealth Bank office and follow the yellow signs.
