February - Still Life Drawing with Alice Cherry.

We are SO EXCITED to announce the first AAH event collaborating with Mon-Chou Bondi Vegan Restaurant and incredible Guest Artist Alice Cherry.

On the 20th of February from 5pm walk into a candle-lit sensual still life drawing evening, ready to get your creative juices flowing.

All levels are welcome, encouraging creativity as a path home to the self.

Ignite that spark of innate creativity, connect to community and do something a little different with your Saturday evening.

"But I can't draw"

We are all artists, re-remembering.

This is a judgement-free zone with no drawing experience required- if your usual response is "I can't draw", this is your chance to explore the free flow of pencil to paper without expectation.

All genders welcome.

What is included & what to expect:

- Drawing tips, exercises and discussion facilitated by incredible artist, Alice Cherry.

- a 2.5 hr juicy sensual and calming evening of still life drawing, connection and creativity with various activities to get you grounded, creative and dropped in.

- A portion of the evening will be in sacred silence - deep self listening encouraged.

- Drawing materials and paper provided.

- Vegan treats and nibbles by the devine & delicious Mon Chou.

- End of night free flow poetry sharing circle - feel free to bring any poetry you'd like to share.

About Alice Cherry

Alice Cherry is a Sydney based artist whose minimal, line-based practice celebrates womanhood and explores an enduring awe she has for the female form. Interested in constructions of gender, sexuality, understandings and representations of the personal, Alice questions how to deconstruct stereotypical perceptions associated with femininity.

Please Bring

- You have the option to bring any drawing materials; eg. pens, pencils (coloured / led), charcoal, crayons.

- Feel free to bring any poetry / writing / quotes you would like to share.

- Your radiant open heart, all of you is welcome.
