ArtCamp ArtCamp 2026
Description
This summer, let creativity take center stage at ArtCamp ArtCamp!
Designed for rising 1st through 5th graders, this hands-on camp invites young artists to draw, paint, build, and explore through daily themed activities. Week 2 includes a limited middle school pilot for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Campers will work in age-based peer groups, creating artwork and exploring creative landscapes of the WaterFire Arts Center.
Led by local art educators, Anna Thompson and Sam Mrozowski, ArtCamp ArtCamp provides a dynamic environment where campers experiment with different artistic methods, materials, and inspirations. Each day includes guided art-making sessions, collaborative projects, and dedicated ‘free-make’ time to let imaginations run wild.
Week 2 includes a limited studio-style experience for rising 6th–8th graders (10 spots total).
Located in Providence’s vibrant Valley neighborhood, the WaterFire Art Center offers an inspiring backdrop filled with creative energy. With new themes each week, campers can join for multiple weeks, building on their skills and artistic vision throughout the summer.
Come make art, make friends, and make memories at ArtCamp ArtCamp!
