Interwoven emphasizes the interconnectedness / intersectionality of all things - nature and humanity - specifically highlighting how marginalized identities intersect with experiences of the natural world. The concert focuses on the beauty and fragility of nature, the existential threat of climate change, and the repression of racial and gender diversity.
Environmental justice is intrinsically linked to social justice. In addition to climate change, the concert explores environmental injustices and liberation for all vs. liberation for some.
The chorus sings to illustrate the ways that the communities we belong to can join together against the challenges to come in our changing world.
The concert is wheelchair accessible and will be ASL interpreted.

This is an Accessible entrance. See the free parking areas indicated below. Please note that payment is not required at the time of the concert, even though you may see signage indicating otherwise.
