In this concert, the Artemis Guitar Duo beautifully balances sacred lyricism and intellectual depth with the soulful warmth of Ibero-American traditions.

Experience the serene contemplation of Fred Hand’s Prayer, the sophisticated counterpoint of Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Preludes and Fugues, and the breathtaking virtuosity of Ida Presti's Etude Fantasque. The program then ignites with the syncopated, rhythmic brilliance of Latin America, featuring the rich Afro-Cuban textures of Ray Guerra's Wemilere, Egberto Gismonti's deeply emotional Água e Vinho, and Jean Lopes Baiano's Pequeña Suite Brazuca no. 1—a colorful piece dedicated specifically to the Artemis Guitar Duo.

Don't miss this showcase of technical mastery, emotional contrast, and the rich, expressive sonorities of two guitars in perfect synchronization.
