***Kindly note that this walk has been designed to promote fitness and will require "some" fitness to finish. We like to keep a moderate pace during our hikes, completing 10 kilometres in approximately 3 hours. Definitely not a power walk, however there will be some inclines, steps and steep inclines. Therefore, we suggest that you carefully review all event information and ensure that you can keep up with the group. If you don't engage in any physical activity during the week or lead a sedentary lifestyle, this walk may not be appropriate for you at this stage. Please check out our newbie hikes :) ***

This is an absolutely lovely walk starting from Seawinds Gardens in Arthurs Seat State Park. We will be walking on the spectacular Two bays walking track. Kings Falls is a gorgeous circuit loop with gravel travels. There are inclines and steps. I have meticulously mapped out this hike to give you the wow factor without going too crazy with the kilometres. You will also see some spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay. Fingers crossed for a clear, sunny morning! Oh and there is an abundance of wild life, including kangaroos within the park!

WHAT TO BRING:

- Water

- Snack. Ie: Banana, high protein snack, Jam sandwich.

- Electrolyte energy drink

- Insect repellant

WHAT TO WEAR:

- A good pair of walking shoes is necessary, which could be hiking shoes or boots. It is recommended to avoid jogging runners as they may not provide enough grip, although it is not a strict requirement. No open toe shoes.

- Decent socks. Ie: a mix of wool, nylon & elastane. Non bulky (Visit hiking stores)

- Compact jacket

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This walk is NOT suitable for children (18+), babies in carriers or for people who do not walk more than 5km’s at a time. This is a National Park, therefore no dogs or animals allowed.
