About Nigel Lavender:

Following an eleven year tenure as Executive Director of Queensland Music Festival, in 2019 Nigel established Momentum Arts, an arts production consultancy specialising in arts and well-being, strategic planning, regional arts development and major events. Current and recent projects include four years as Executive Producer for THE BIG ANXIETY (UNSW), management of the Regional Arts Fund for Queensland, strategic planning for five galleries in Maranoa and the Western Downs, and design and facilitation launching DARTS, a State-wide regional theatre initiative 2024-26. Nigel is a Peer Assessor for Arts Queensland, Creative Australia and the Federal Office for the Arts and a former member of the Ipswich RADF committee. He lives and works on Yuggera Country near Ipswich.
