Vibrant vessels ceramic workshop

Join Michelle Le Plastrier on a ceramic journey to create the vibrant vessel of your dreams! 

In this 3 hour workshop you’ll learn how to create your own pinch pot or slab based vessel and then we’ll move through some decorating and embellishing techniques (handle adding for mugs). Finally we will add some vibrant underglaze colours to finalise your creation.

Your vessel will take about a month to dry and be fired before being available for collection from the Ipswich Art Gallery. We'll let you know when they're ready for you to take home.


This workshop is part of Ipswich City Council's creative industries development program ARTiculate. This initiative is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government, Arts Queensland, and Ipswich City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
