What to Expect:

Step into the world of Artificial Intelligence and discover the technology shaping our future. Presented by Neuranext, this hands-on workshop explores how computers learn, see and make decisions through exciting demonstrations and real-world applications.

Students will experience live AI technologies including object detection, face recognition and human pose estimation, explore autonomous vehicle technology, and interact with cutting-edge AI-powered robots. They'll also investigate generative AI, deepfakes and digital media, learning how to think critically about information in an AI-driven world.

Along the way, students will discover emerging careers in AI, learn about the skills employers are seeking, and gain insights into how AI is being used to solve real-world challenges across science, healthcare and industry.

Additional Information

Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the workshop at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
Workshop includes a short recess break outside (weather permitting). Please bring a bag with sunscreen, snacks/ food, a hat and drink bottle.
All workshops are delivered by accredited educators with experience in science, engineering, programming and robotics.
