WHAT CAN YOU SELL?
* You are welcome to sell handmade, vintage, body products and eco-friendly* goods.
* No unethical, environmentally unfriendly or mass-produced items.
* New imported items must be ethically-sourced/fair trade.
* Sorry, no PLANTS
* No products with offensive language or images please. We are a family-friendly market.
* No electrical or electronic goods.
* Sorry, there are no powered sites.
* Stallholders may be required to supply photos of products when applying for a stall.
PRICE:
REGULAR STALL* (3m x 3m) - $50 (+ .99c humanitix fee)
SMALL STALL* (1.5m x 1.5m) - $25 (+ .99c humanitix fee)
(If you are bringing a marquee/gazebo, please book a REGULAR stall and ensure you bring weights, NO pegs allowed)
* Please note: the STALL FEE is for the STALL/SPACE ONLY and DOES NOT INClUDE A MARQUEE OR TABLE.
* The market does not hire MARQUEES neither tables or chairs.
MARKET EQUIPMENT:
Stallholders need to supply their own market equipment, marquee, weights and chairs as needed.
INSURANCE:
A current public liability insurance is required. Please submit this after approval of your stall. mooroolbark.market@gmail.com
PARKING & SET UP - PACK DOWN:
PLEASE NOTE: VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE MARKET AREA
Stall equipment, etc needs to be carried (approx. 50m) from the main carpark area Station and Charles Street into the market area. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BRING A TROLLEY
Artisans Market at the Community Garden | Mooroolbark is held every last Sunday of the month.
You are welcome to arrive from 7:30am for a 9.00am START
Pack down start from 2:00pm please remain from an easy pack down for respect of the others
We must leave not trace so please take your rubbish with you as we do not have council bins provided
Site must be evacuted by 5:00pm
*When you arrive, the market coordinator will direct you to where you can set up your stall.
*Please unload your car safely and efficiently, being mindful of and respectful towards other stallholders
and their property, Community Garden |Mooroolbark visitors and volunteers. Please be patient if you need to wait for a parking space.
WEATHER:
The market will proceed in all weather conditions unless an extreme weather warning has been issued or if the weather forecast is very hot (37C), very wet or stormy weather. If is the case the market coordinator will notify you by text/or email as early as possible. If the market is going ahed but you wish to postpone your booking due to weather, please contact the market coordinator as early as possible (before 7am on the market day)
CANCELLATIONS:
All stall fees are non-refundable. Please contact the market coordinator
CODE OF CONDUCT:
It is a condition of being a stallholder at Artisans Market in the Community Garden | Mooroolbark that professional conduct is
maintained in all interactions with other stallholders, volunteers and visitors and the wider community
whilst on site to contribute to a harmonious, safe and welcoming market.
*Stallholders will show courtesy and respect towards other stallholders, Community Garden | Mooroolbark volunteers and visitors.
*Stallholders will not verbally abuse or threaten other stallholders, Community Garden | Mooroolbark volunteers and visitors.
*Stallholders will not bully or harass other stallholders, Community Garden | Mooroolbark volunteers and visitors.
*Stallholders will not intentionally physically harm other stallholders, Community Garden | Mooroolbark volunteers and visitors.
*Stallholders will not intentionally damage the property of another stallholder, Community Garden | Mooroolbark volunteers and visitors.
*Stallholders will act in a manner that contributes to the harmonious, safe and welcoming environment of Artisans Market in the Community Garden | Mooroolbark.
A breach of any of these Code of Conduct rules will result in a forbidden right to trade at the Artisans Market in the Community Garden | Mooroolbark.
DECLARATION:
By submitting your stallholder application; or by choosing to continue to participate as a stallholder at the Artisans Market in the Community Garden | Mooroolbark, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL OF THE ARTISANS MARKET IN THE COMMUNITY GARDEN | MOOROOLBARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CODE OF CONDUCT.
