Join curators Elyse Goldfinch and Jessica Clark alongside artists Cybele Cox, Karla Dickens, Naomi Kantjuriny, Clare Milledge and Heather B Swann for a floor talk discussing the themes of From the other side.
From the other side draws upon horror’s capacity to transgress and destabilise forms of power and subjugation. With a focus on the fear of the monstrous-feminine, the exhibition raises questions about the often-problematic representation of female monsters, the impulse for rage and revenge and embracing feelings of vulnerability and unease.
