It's that time once more! As 2023 draws to a close, let's pause to ponder the past year, celebrate our artistic achievements and prepare for 2024.

Join us for a cozy gathering over a cup of tea or bubbles, as we engage in a guided process to explore the highs and lows of your arts practice throughout this year.

This artist connect session aims to give you the space to explore and discuss:

• How did you navigate the challenges? 
• Share your successes and discover how you have adjusted to the evolving landscape?
• What's the status of your artistic practice, and do you envision continuing it into 2024?
• How does the upcoming year, 2024, appear from your current vantage point?

Meet some other like-minded local artists and expand your artist network.

Artist Connect is an informal group that aims to connect local artists and provide a collegial support network. Each month we focus on a new theme such as building your artist website, marketing your art through social media and other skills. This month we will focus on celebrating and sharing your achievements in your own practices, setting goals and aspirations for 2024 and networking with other local artists.

Where: Bulmba-ja Arts Centre, 96 Abbott Street, Cairns City

Enter through the doors at the front of the building, head to Gallery 1 at the back of the hallway.

When:4 PM - 5.30PM

Cost: Free for members | $5 donation for non-members
