Eucalyptusdom artist-led talk with Dean Cross and Emily McDaniel

During these informal artist-led tours, visitors will gain insights into the artists’ works, collection objects, the exhibition development process and the ideas and stories woven through the exhibition.

Dean Cross is a Worimi man and paratactical artist. His creative commission for Eucalyptusdom is a video installation titled, Without You I am Nothing (Curtis Bennett/White Ash).

Emily McDaniel is the Powerhouse Museum Director First Nations and a co-curator of Eucalyptusdom.

Eucalyptusdom reckons with our cultural history and ever-changing relationship with the gum tree, presenting over 500 objects from the Powerhouse Collection alongside 17 newly commissioned works by creative practitioners working across the fields of design, architecture, film, applied arts and performance.
