Jessica Ainsworth will speak about her work in her show "Kissing the Cobra". Jessica says, "I love working with my hands, heart and mind, and every painting holds another piece of the puzzle that represents who I am, and in that discovery, one of the greatest joys can be revealed of what it means to be not only a woman, but an old woman."

For Jessica, inspiration usually comes first which opens her mind to new possibilities. She start writing notes, journaling, researching, reading and generally letting my mind wander. She finds this almost the most interesting part of the process.

The female form is her favourite subject and as she is her own model, with her my partner constantly being asked to photograph her body.
