Artist Talk: Barbara McKay in conversation with Rachael Parsons (includes a back of house store room tour)

Join NERAM Director Rachael Parson and exhibiting artist Barbara McKay as they discuss Barbara's art practice and career.  Barbara McKay is one of Australia’s truly significant female abstract expressionist artists. Acclaimed by renowned American art critic Clement Greenberg, McKay has spent over five decades committed to immersing herself wholly into the gestural expression of the world and environment around her. McKay's recently acquired work Wattle (1974), features in Vibrations: Abstract women in the collection.

The talk will be followed by a tour of NERAM's art storeroom.
