Event description

Join artist Marian Drew for an illustrated floor talk of her exciting new photographic works, as she discusses how they represent her response to the urgency of environmental crisis and the speed of technological change.

Brisbane-based multimedia artist Marian Drew has been working as a photographic artist for 40 years, studying originally at Canberra School of Art and her works are held in national and international collections including the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Her most recent photographic imagery takes the form of blurred images of landscape printed on large sheets of aluminium that have been bent to form sculptural relief panels.
