Sat, 19 Jul, 11:30am - 1pm AWST

Event description

To mark the close of the exhibition, join artists Claire B. Bushby, Zali Morgan, Rusaila Bazlamit and Elnaz Sheshgelani, along with curator Nastaran Ghadiri, for a panel discussion and artist talk as part of our Collective Grief exhibition.

Together, we’ll explore grief, war, history, resistance, and connection, reflecting on the personal experiences and social/political forces that shape the artists' practices and the stories behind their works.

The conversation will also touch on the ongoing climate of fear and mourning in the Middle East, and the deeper connections between collective grief, identity, memory, and community.

All are welcome to listen, share, and be part of this important dialogue.

Light refreshments will be served.
