Hayes works across photography, video and textiles as materials to investigate the photographic paradox in which illusion and the indexical, or physical connections to the real coexist. Oliver Wood was born and raised on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. He has an energetic practice with an inquisitive nature that is interested in following the technical and pictorial possibilities of all media he applies his attention to. Woods recently completed Year 12, studying two art folio subjects. He recently participated in a photogravure workshop with Silvi Glattauer at Baldessin Press Studio, St Andrews.
