Eltham Library Community Gallery, Panther Place, Eltham

Join us in conversation with visual artists, Siri Hayes and Oliver Wood, as they discuss their collaborative exhibition ' Reworked - In the Rupture is the Sacred Place' presented at the Eltham Library Community Gallery.

Siri Hayes is of European heritage and was born on Boonwurrung Country and has mostly practiced on Wurundjeri Woi wurrung Country.  Hayes works across photography, video and textiles as materials to investigate the photographic paradox in which illusion and the indexical, or physical connections to the real coexist. Hayes has exhibited for over 20 years in solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia as well as in Japan, Canada, Finland, France and Poland.

Oliver Wood was born and raised on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. He has an energetic practice with an inquisitive nature that is interested in following the technical and pictorial possibilities of all media he applies his attention to. Woods recently completed Year 12, studying two art folio subjects. He recently participated in a photogravure workshop with Silvi Glattauer at Baldessin Press Studio, St Andrews.
