Artist Talk with Panizza Allmark - Reframed Horizons

Join Panizza Allmark for an artist talk on Reframed Horizons, an exhibition grounded in her international photographic practice and engagement with photographie féminine. Working across diverse global contexts, Allmark reconfigures both overlooked and familiar landscapes as sites of ambiguity and visual tension.

In this talk, she will address the conceptual and practical processes underpinning her work, including the practice of doubling which blurs the line between reality and artifice. Her photographic series investigate the politics of the uncanny as an aesthetic practice, critically challenging dominant visual narratives of people and place and positioning vision as a mode of resistance.
