Artist Talk with Louis Lim
Event description
ARTIST TALK WITH LOUIS LIM
Saturday 10 Feb | 11am - 12pm
Join us at The Condensery for a morning with photographer, Louis Lim.
Louis Lim is a Brisbane-based photographer whose work explores the diversity in human conditions, specifically those that are under-represented in mainstream media. With a keen interest in light, Lim’s practice is focused on non-fictional visual storytelling and conceptual photographic portraits.
In this artist talk, Lim will discuss his installation Remnants | Impressions, currently on display in The Condensery's Bomb Shelter. We will focus on Lim's process of trying to revive the polaroid images featured, as well as photography's ability to prompt experimentation, speculation and doubt.
Bookings are required for catering purposes.
