AXIS MUNDI | Artist Talk with Yasemin Sabuncu

Join SALA award-winner Yasemin Sabuncu, alongside Lauren Conboy and Dr. John Mingoia, for an engaging discussion on the impact of social media and technology on our sense of self and reality. Immerse yourself in Yasemin’s “Axis Mundi” exhibition, a series of unmodified experimental self-portraits that expose the distortions of beauty in the digital age.

Explore how selfies, filters, and the attention economy shape our identity and perceptions. Complemented by traditional Turkish tea, this event offers an exploration of digital self-image.
