    Event description

    Workshop Description:

In the initial 10 minutes of the workshop, Rebecca will propose a mindfulness exercise where everyone will collectively engage in the task of articulating and recognizing the significance of elements dear to each person. The expressions will encompass 'I desire...,' 'I require...,' 'I aspire to...,' 'I apprehend...,' 'I am...,' and 'I hold affection for...'. Participants will collectively craft a single page during the workshop, with the opportunity to carry their journal home, allowing them to perpetuate their creative journey. Rebecca's objective is to provide an enduring endeavor that can be pursued in the times to come.

    About the artist:

Rebecca is an intuitive and expressive artist in recovery from schizoaffective disorder. She weaves stories through her art, employing vibrant, eclectic colors and whimsical themes. Her creations radiate joy, often exploring the world through the perspectives of animals, people, and words. Art serves as a powerful healing instrument in her life, and her aspiration is to extend that message of healing to a wider audience. Since relocating to Columbus in 2016, she has actively shared her artwork by participating in numerous shows and exhibits, underscoring the vital role of community in the storytelling of art.
