Hear from renowned photographer Christopher Ireland about his practice, his decade long project and collaboration with the community of 'Greenway' as part of the recognition of Greenways 70th anniversary.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITIONÂ
All Things Considered by Christopher Ireland from 23 March- 24 April 2024
All Things Considered is a visual photographic exhibition and chronicle of life within social housing, as told by residents in Greenway Kirribilli, Sydney. Authentic, affectionate and provocative, the work is the decade-long project of renowned Sydney photographer, Christopher Ireland and is the result of years of collaboration between artist and community. The portraits and interviews presented show the artists connection with his portrait subjects and provide an insight into the more recent years of the ‘Greenways’ 70 year history as social housing.
The exhibition includes an historical panel and an architectural model of 'Greenway' provided by North Sydney Heritage Centre, Stanton Library.
The exhibition is supported by North Sydney Council and Kirribilli Centre and is on during Australian Heritage Festival.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Christopher Ireland is an award-winning Sydney-based photographer and director. He is known for capturing life’s real characters with warmth, sensitivity and authenticity.
