ARTivate x Inner West Drama (Ages 17-24)
Event description
Inner West Drama will run two youth drama workshops around the theme Express. Empower. Get loud - what better way to explore this theme than in a theatre where getting loud and expressing yourself is applauded. The session will be based on creative play and will use positive, supportive methods to connect our young community while exporting ideas of social justice, self acceptance and communication. The joy of play will help create bonds and strengthen confidence.
ARTivate is a two-day event that has been put together by the team at Addison Road Community Centre in partnership with Inner West Council for Youth Week 2024. The event is running across the 20th and 21st of April. We hope to combine art practice with social justice to enable youth to express creatively and openly in a safe environment! See you there!
