Arts & Crafts Puppet Making for the River - Reign the Mermaid and Mr. Blue Need Your Help!

Join the fun and help Norfolk’s cast of community puppet characters in The Amazing Neighborhood Mollusk Adventure! This community puppet show is set to debut in March and our characters, Reign the Mermaid, Mr. Blue the Crab, and the Reef Rascals need your help getting the final touches ready before their big opening day. This free arts and crafts experience will give attendees the chance to help design Reign, Mr. Blue, and the Reef Rascals using their own personal experiences and stories about life along the Elizabeth River and other Chesapeake Bay estuaries. This event is open to all ages.

An optional guided tour of the Ryan Resilience Lab will be offered at 3:30pm before the program.

Event is free though pre-registration is required -- donations are greatly appreciated to help support nature education programming here at the Elizabeth River Project.
