Arts For All Network – regional arts accessibility hui

The national Arts For All Network increases accessibility in the arts for Deaf and disabled people by working in partnership with individuals and organisations to remove barriers. A resource available at no cost for anyone involved in, curious, or passionate about arts accessibility in Aotearoa, the Network is delighted to be visiting Queenstown in June.

Join a relaxed, welcoming hui to learn about the Arts For All Network and connect with locals who want to remove barriers, with plenty of time for learning, sharing, and networking. Deaf, disabled and non-disabled people are all welcome, including people new to arts accessibility and those with years of experience. It's a great opportunity to share your mahi, advocate to decision makers, set some accessibility goals, and brainstorm for an accessible arts world together.

The disabled-led hui is hosted by Katie Querin, Whakahohe a Toi Ōritetanga | Arts For All Activator. 

Three Lakes Cultural Trust is delighted to be a visit from the Arts For All Network to Queenstown Lakes, to support our local individuals and organisations wanting to remove barriers to the arts.

Accessibility

The hui space is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets. Attendees are welcome to bring fidget toys, comfort items, and whatever they need to be comfortable. Service dogs and support persons are welcome. This hui will not be NZSL interpreted.

About Katie

Katie Querin is Whakahohe a Toi Ōritetanga / Arts For All Activator for Arts Access Aotearoa. She leads the Arts For All Network, supporting individuals and organisations across Aotearoa to increase accessibility for Deaf and disabled people. She brings more than a decade of experience in theatre and arts accessibility, alongside lived experience as a disabled person.
