ARTS IMMERSION CAMPS for ages 5-7, 8-10

Join us this summer for an immersion in the arts geared especially towards youth. One-week full-day camps feature multi-disciplinary arts immersion that includes visual, literary, and performing arts throughout the week. With a variety of projects and activities throughout the week to engage campers, every day is a new adventure! All supplies provided. A refrigerator is available to store lunch/snacks. 

    Instructors include: Courtney Powers (visual art), Wendy Aldwyn (visual art, storytelling), Sydney Rosenberg 
    (visual art), James Easteppe & Mary Ann De Fir (music), Meredith Haggerty (visual art)

    • Camp Weeks for Ages 5-7: 6/26 – 6/30 | 7/24 – 7/28 | 8/7 – 8/11 
    • Camp Weeks for Ages 8-10: 7/31 – 8/4 | 8/14 – 8/18 
    • Camp Hours 9am-5pm | Drop off starts at 8:30am; Pick up until 5:30pm

    CAMPS FOR AGES 11+

    Forage & Fiber Art Camp: 7/17 – 7/21 
    Camp Hours 9am-5pm | Drop off starts at 8:30am; Pick up until 5:30pm

    • In this special week, campers will immerse in art making using natural foraged materials. Excursions into Gold Park and along the Riverwalk will provide opportunities for collecting materials for creating pigments, cordage, and natural dyes throughout the week. Fiber artist Debbie Suchoff and art therapist Natalia Torres del Valle guide the process from forage to fiber and more. All supplies provided. A refrigerator is available to store lunch/snacks.

    SOLD OUT! -- Watercolor Morning Half-Day Camp: 8/21 – 8/25
    Camp Hours 9am-12:30pm | Drop off starts at 8:30am; Pick up until 1pm

    • In this half-day camp, students will focus on learning watercolor skills that will leave them with a better understanding and appreciation of the medium. Students will also work on incorporation of design elements such as composition, value, and color to help enhance our creative experience. Every day will include some focused skill work and plenty of free flowing creative time. All supplies provided.

    Digital Art & Animation Afternoon Half-Day Camp: 
    8/21 – 8/25
    Camp Hours 1:30-5pm | Drop off starts at 1pm; Pick up until 5:30pm

    • In this half-day camp, students will focus on the many aspects of animation, from creating engaging characters, storyboarding, traditional flip-book styles of analogue animation and digital animation of figures using free/trial versions of Adobe Fresco  (Campers will need to provide their own laptops or tablets to run this program.
