Arts Mildura Youth Focused Open Mic Night Registrations

Come and join us for a night of music, poetry, drama, stand-up and comedy at Arts Mildura Open Mic Night! Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talents in front of a supportive audience.

The event will take place on Fri April 19 2024 doors open at 5:15pm with our headline performance commencing at 5:30pm at Mildura Football Function Centre (1 Twelfth Street, Mildura). Registration is open to anyone who wants to perform, so don't be shy!

Bring your friends and family along to enjoy a night of entertainment and support the local arts community. We can't wait to see you there!

Headline Act - Holly Camillieri and Georgia Mahoney. 

We are so lucking to have the amazing Holly and Georgia performing for us! Their set will commence at 5:30pm to open our first Open Mic of 2024. 

Rules of Arts Mildura's Youth Focused Open Mic:

• Each Set is a total of 10 minutes (that's normally about 3 songs for the musicians out there!), that includes your set up and pack down. We recommend having your gear as prepared (tuning etc.) as you can before going on stage.
• Just because each set is a maximum of 10 minutes doesn't mean you have to fill it! Whether you have a 4 minute monologue or 7 minute stand-up or only 1 song still sign up! Just know that 10 minutes is the maximum time you will have.
• Keep your maximum registrations to 2 or 3 per night as we want everyone to be able to have a chance to perform.
• Backing tracks either need to be sent in to info@artsmildura.com.au before 1pm Wed Apr 17 2024, or brought in on a USB in a MP3 or MP4 format and provided to Arts Mildura Staff before 6:30pm day of event.
• Pre event registration close Thurs Apr 18 2024 10am, however registrations will still be taken at the event. REMINDER: while registrations are still taken at the event these spots are not guaranteed, it is a case of first in best dressed, and best done within the first 30 minutes of the night.
• While your registration time preferences have been noted, this is subject to circumstances of the night and you may be scheduled to perform earlier than your selected  time section.
• Arts Mildura will send a confirmation email with your Set time if you have done registration pre event.
