Guest Speaker - Dr Peter Sweatman, ARTSA-i Life Member

Dr Peter Sweatman will talk about his long and distinguished Australian and international career in road transport. Peter was an influential researcher and later road transport consultant in Australia until 2004 when he took the position as Director of the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). He is a past chairman of ITS America and founder or cofounder of several businesses including Mcity and CAVita. He has led expert road transport groups in the OECD. He recently authored the CRC Press book Approaches to Road Safety: Evolution, Challenges and Emerging Technologies
