Artsana
Event description
Artsana is the embodiment of Art through Yoga. A flowing yoga sequence, while dipping your fingers and toes in paints and creating a master piece on high quality canvas.
We begin the evening with some simple yet effective breathing techniques and visualisation meditation to power up our right brain or creative hemisphere. Applying simple imagination techniques you begin to divine the canvas you want to create, or set your focus inward and surrender to pure creation. Brydie is yoga and meditation teacher and holds degree in psychological science, from which she can help you overcome any blockages or fear.
Once we have envisaged our purpose, we sweep into gentle movements to warm up and begin the creative process of expressive body movement. You will start with dipping the paint on your hands and feet and exploring the light touch on the canvas, building confidence in the artistic process. Popular local artists Miranda Plum, guides you through techniques to bring out your inner artist, and imbues you with confidence to be the master of creation in your design.
As the journey progresses and we start heating up, we instinctively step into our full potential and our master piece takes form, ever changing ever growing. Here we let the paint splash over the canvas through powerful movements and joyous beating our hearts. Unleashing our full potential many people begin to feel in control and start to free flow, this is encouraged, this is your night your artwork your creative process. We turn the music up, the lights down and hit the canvas.
You take home your artwork and frame or hang in a special place.
