Event description

Explore Fantasy, Art & Imagination PLUS Biking!

Campers will dive into four days of high-energy creativity with illustrator Melissa Charpentier, exploring fantasy, nature, pop culture, and more through hands-on art-making and storytelling.

Each day brings a new theme and set of unique projects—from dragons and mythical creatures to space adventures and video game-inspired creations. With watercolor, mixed media, comic art, and 3D elements, kids will experiment, play, and express themselves in fun and unexpected ways.

Here’s what the art portion looks like:

  • Fantasy Adventure
Design a watercolor treasure map, “roll” your own dragon, craft a castle, and bring it all together in a custom comic strip.

  • Mythical Creatures
Build a fantasy world with a new map, hatch a dragon egg, invent a mythical creature, and continue your comic story.

  • Beach Day Vibes
Paint flip-flops and watercolor ice cream, design a sandcastle collage, and capture it all in your “Best Beach Day Ever” comic.

  • Space & Skateboards
Create graffiti-style fence art, build a mini skateboard, design an alien, and launch into a space-themed comic adventure.

  • Video Game Fun
Make your own Pokémon cards, build a Mario-style side scroller scene, design a Minecraft portrait, and wrap up the week with a video game comic.

Campers will also take part in a mountain bike ride and skills session along Sun Peaks valley trails with Coach Heidi from 3 Mtn Bike Coaching. With years of experience riding and teaching on Sun Peaks’ trails, Heidi creates a fun and supportive environment where young riders can build skills and confidence on two wheels. Groups will be split by ability and head out for up to a 1-hour ride, focusing on fun, safety, and skill-building. Bikes, helmets, and closed-toe shoes are required (suspension and armour are optional).

Camp runs 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday-Friday.
